I recieved a Notice of Debt Collection with a banking slip attached saying I had until 26/12 to pay outstanding amount owed to EBay. It also went on to say they would be instructing solicitors to commence legal action or instruct debt collector to visit home. This is a scam as I have never purchased anything through EBay.
As the paperwork looks so official / professional I believe this to be a threatening tactic, the amount is just small enough to make your immediate reaction to pay rather than taking the risk of having legal action taken.
