I responded to an ad for a starter kit for $4.95. This was a gift for a friend who is a smoker. The $4.95 was charged to my credit card. Today, I received a charge of $99.67 on my credit card. I called the company and was told that I had failed to cancel the charge within 14 days from the original order. I told the representative that I would contest the charge and that I would file a formal complaint with a government agency.
