I received the same "scam" text today. I never entered any awards program/game & at first I thought it WAS from Target, where I frequently shop. However, when I typed the email address I was suspicious when I noticed the extra "s" after the store name. When the choices came up I immediately saw the numerous "scam" comments regarding the same "prize". Too bad Target is being blamed for something that is obviously NOT their fault. Hopefully Verizon will find a way to eliminate this scam... Especially for people who don't text (they get charged for it) and people who might reveal personal information to the perpetrator. How sad! But the holidays bring out the best AND the worst in people sometimes! Just be careful out there!
