I just received a text message from Target advising me to go to TargetWinner.com and enter my winning code 74637 to claim my FREE $1000 Target gift card.
I am reading comments that the same has happened to them. As I started to enter data, I find that that a marketing company has rights to access my information - what a scam and what a misleading message to send to a customer. Target makes money on selling the information and I lose faith and my information security.
I did not give the information, nor did the text advise that I would have to do so. But I did enter $1000 for monetary damages. A promise broken.
I expected better from Target.
