The ordering via the internet was confusing. I ended up ordering 3 deluxe lanterns at $22.98 and 2 at $19.98. There was no evidence of a free offer of a second lantern after payment of $12.95 for the first. Non of this was made clear before striking the "order" key. Then it was too late.
They were shipped from Los Angeles, California via Fed Ex to a post office in Rockville Centre, LI, NY.
When checking the order status it indicated a delivery on December 13 at the Oceanside address. The recipient said it was never received/delivered. - When calling the Telebrands customer service number to inquire about the non-delivery the telephone representative could not be understood. I could not get connected to a supervisor and the telephone person kept repeating that when the package was returned we would get a refund.
It was evident that the package was lost or stolen from the delivery truck and therefore could not be returned to sender for us to receive a refund. We could not impress this on the telephone representative.
We gave up in frustration. This had been the third call we made to the Telebrands Customer Service.
I believe the whole thing is a scam. I'm still hoping for a refund.
