I took their package deal (Internet Phone) as per their advertised rate 29.99 per month for 12 months. Surprisingly, I received first bill from windstream of over $250 some how after making several calls to their billing department they apologized and reduced my first bill to around $70 and since then I am receiving their bill over $65 associating some bogus charges / taxes. Once, I asked them to cancel my service they claim that I am bound to have this service for 12 months despite I never signed any agreement to keep this service.
Now I am sure that they are ripping off customers by making falls promises. I think there is no watch dog to deal with such fraud companies.
