This semester was my first time doing business with this company and it will definitely be my last. I ordered and received 2 of the 3 books according to the company's delivery timeframe. The semester started and after three calls to customer service, the c/s rep stated she would order the book that day (Wednesday) for delivery on Friday. The book never showed up and I was forced to buy the textbook new from my University bookstore for approx. $180 (versus the rental rate of $50). The book finally showed up the following week and I promptly returned it (still waiting on refund, as a matter of fact). I asked customer service to credit my account for the difference of the purchase price and rental price in order to retain my business. They declined and were only willing to refund the rental price. I also filed a complaint on their website and have received no reply (though it states that a reply will be sent in 48 hours). The company is not willing to make amends for issues on their part that end up costing their customers time, money, and stress. A $130 mistake and could not afford to make.
