WATCH OUT, this company works for the Employers 100%. Even if they keep on business because of the employees' disabilities. They do anything and everything to deny STD claims. Mail "required paper work" almost or after the due days. And every time they "inform" you that the claim will be denied if not getting the documentation by the due day? They bury you in forms, hoping every time that you will miss filling them and do not return them. These are some of their dirty tricks but not the worse ones. Their favorite word and goal is "DENY, DENY, and DENY." This is the most dishonest, untruthful, and deceive company I ever met. What they do has to be illegal.
My advice, "LOOK FOR SOMEBODY ELSE." There are honest lawyers out there who will fight for your rights. And report this company's double-cross techniques to the "Better Business Bureau." Sedgwick can go under if do not have more customers, or with enough reports to the Business Bureau, they will be investigated and shut down.
