Terrible Customer Service

I had been planned to travel in from FL to NYC during storm Irene. Nevertheless, I discovered the night time before my planned trip property to NYC that my trip was terminated. I named Travelocity to keep these things re-book my trip and that I was informed that I had a need to contact the flight to re-guide. (What Is the purpose of going right through Travelocity?) Then I asked about my motel stay, I questioned when they might protect the extra cost plus they stated "yes, because it was a storm, we shall protect that." They explained they'd contact the resort to re-guide the area and might contact me back within 2 hours. 4 hours later I named them back since I have never noticed from their store plus they stated they'd NOT purchase the area cost. I requested to talk to a and she stated she'd contact the resort 24 hours later to go over a feasible discount, but Travelocity won't purchase the extra stay. Such BS! Plus they never called the resort. THEREFORE essentially, I rebooked my trip and rebooked my space (at my own reduced price after I informed the resort director my tale) by myself. That which was the purpose of going right through Travelocity? To top it down, after our last telephone convo, they explained to "possess a good evening". Exactly what a crock!
