Very urgent! There is currently a crime being committed. There have been reports of people getting calls from a "crime center of america" stating that they took out a payday loan, and if they dont come up with hundreds of dollars, they will be taken to jail, or to court. They give u a short timeline of 24 hours or a few days. Do not give any money to these people. These are middle eastern people that used to work at national advanced payday loan.
Here's how the scam works - these middle eastern people worked there. At their job, they have stolen personal information of clients, or even people who only applied for the loan, not neccesarily got the loan. The scammers are rentig out a house or apartment. It is there where they are calling people, calling themselves a crime center, when they are the only one committing a crime.
Your names, phone numbers, social security numbers, and any banking information u submitted to the payday loan service has been stolen by these criminals. Paying money, will only go to the pockets of these middle eastern people.
First of all, you need to immediately go and report this to the fbi at ic3. Gov. This is a serious crime. Copy and paste links from the many complaints on this site for proof of the crimes. Let them know you suspect these middle eastern people have stolen personal information from the national advanced payday loan company (if that even exists, could be another scam by the same middle eastern people only to get ur personal info and to try this crime on u), and they are telling u that they are a crime center (falsely impersonating the authorities) and they are telling you that they are throwing u in jail unless u personally pay them hundreds of dollars. Let the fbi know that ur social security number has been stolen from them, as well as any bank info u may have submitted as well. Also, when they call, or u call them, record the conversation. Get the address to hand over to the fbi. Then u can let them know that u know they have simply stolen ur info, and that they r impersonating authorities. U know they are only middle eastern people, not the authorities, and that u know they have unlawfully stolen ur information. Let them know that u will turn them in to the authorities so the law can decide whether or not u owe this debt. Also, be sure to give the fbi the phone numbers when reporting this crime. Let them know that national advanced payday loans may be in on the scam, and it may not even be a payday loan service.
ALSO*Report ur social security number as stolen to the social security administration. Also please change ur account numbers to ur bank and credit cards. This is a serious crime.
Again, please report this federal offense to the fbi at ic3. Gov.
