Cellfish Media
Unauthorized Charges

I took a "free IQ Test" on Facebook. They then ask for your cell phone number so they can text you a PIN number to subsequently enter on the test site in order to retrieve your score. Even if you cancel the monthly service @ $9.99/mo and enter STOP on your cellphone, it is too late by then. They've sucked you in by trickery and deceit. They STILL charge your cellphone. When I called AT&T to complain about the charges on my cellphone bill, the name that Cellfish uses gives you no clues about who they are or any contact information — none! AT&T would only remove one of the $9.99 charges. Cellfish should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. They have a sneaky, conniving, deceitful business practice, and I am appauled that FACEBOOK would do business with these people or allow them to link to FACEBOOK. Cellfish's disclosure is in such fine print that you cannot even read it without glasses on. They do not, by any stretch of the imagination, make it known up front that you will be charged $9.99 just for retrieving your score. I immediately texted back STOP and was still charged $9.99 for 10 seconds of service. What kind of good business practice is that? Cellfish is the bottom of the barrel as far as I am concerned. "SELFISH/CELLFISH" seems the perfectly appropriate name for them. You can be assured that I will not let this drop.
