Peoplestring, where you own the web asked for a $300 investment. Stopped paying it's members a share of their earnings

I invested $300 with the company for bigger earnings. After about 3 and 1/2 years they stopped paying their members and closed down the site. It was supposed to be the next google/facebook. I spent over $500 in advertising to promote my business and feel ripped off. They won't even say why they closed down.
