I signed up for classmates.com to contact some old classmates. They began billing me, which was expected, but I was lead to believe that I could cancel my account at any time. When I went to the website, there is no feature (or at least not one easy to locate) that allows for cancellation of account. I went into my account, and removed my bank account info, and 'rescinded' authorization to bill my bank account, but I still have the money coming out of my account. There is no phone number to contact a person in the company.
I'm going to ask my bank to stop the payments, which I should have done a while ago. Because the amount is small ($9.00) I think most people are like me, and keep putting off or forgetting to deal with it until the next billing cycle. That's how they get cha, I guess.
