Nancy Fowler solicits IT business from major companies in the KCMO area. After she is trusted and made a preferred vendor, she receives the requirements to fill for the unsuspecting company. Nancy then places and ad and hires the unsuspecting IT consultant telling them that the only way to work for the company/client needing the work performed is through her company "TAG."
After the consultant works for the client, they don't get paid or receive compensation. Nancy assures the consultant that they will get paid so the consultant keeps working in good faith. This goes on for weeks and even months or for as long as the consultant believes they will be paid.
Nancy Fowler is running this scam on major companies in the Kansas City area. The companies are under the impression that the consultant is being paid. After weeks go by and the consultant finally walks off the job for not getting compensated, Nancy then tells them she will not pay them because they walked off the job.
