Last month I noticed a 9 dollard charge to my credit account for this product. I don't remember agreeing to such a charge and did not want to go through the process of getting it canceled through the company. I worked for a company that did this type of operation and learned that their support is normaly 2 people in a closet type location who's main purpose is to cancel the people out. I called my bank after I realized it was a reoccuring charge to report my card as stolen so no further charges will be made by the company and to get a dispute form mailed to me. If you know about the dispute process it seems to get your money back in a quick matter. Most of the time you mention the word dispute to a merchant and they will imeditly refund your money to you, however if you do not mention this process they will likely treat you like dirt and just cancel out your account. If you notice fraud charges of this follow these steps to get your money back:
1. Report your card as stolen to prevent further charges
2. Get a dispute form from you bank
3. Use the dispute process to your advantage when working with the merchant. Most merchants would rather have a refund than a "Charge Back" If you bring this process to their immediate attention then they will refund your money. Charge backs go against the merchant account and jepordizes their abbility to process credit cards if not completely shuts down their whole opperation.
4. Don't take no for an answer from the merchant.
5. Read/listen to everything before you give out your CC info / most of the time things will tie into various differnt place and while some give free memberships to start with they end up charging you monthly reoccuring fees for items you are un familiar with. If it sounds like things are carying over it is a good indication to back out and not go through with that transaction.
6. If neccessary fill out a police report. If there is a lawsuit that takes place that gives out a group setelment then you will receive part of that. If there is enough then the buissness will get shut down.
I sent an email to this merchant explaining what I am going to do if they do not refund my money or get back with me in a timely fashion then I will fill out the neccessary forms to get my money back. It's not that hard of a process and if you can get it resolved directly with the merchant then it will be better that way if you can not then take the neccessary actions. Remember that if you have one charge more might come. Cancel out your card and get a new one. That will stop whatever charges you are getting.
