Apparently One Web Direct Bill is being taken advantage by one of their vendors. We received a bill today for a whopping $450 for "entertainment" calls made to a UK phone number. Sounds like what a lot of other people here are experiencing. Per their instructions I went to their website and submitted a request for investigation.in response I received an email which looked like a form letter, stating that we had approved this usage to view a website called "Live Web Cams". Then it went on to go through their various rights as a company, without addressing any of the issues or questions I had asked them.
Suspecting a virus/auto-dialer issue, we ran our Virus scan and found something called "TIBS"- again, something other people on this website have experienced as well. I responded to their email, asking them to address my concerns and continue the investigation. Then I found this website. Obviously there are many of us going through this together, with similar issues and concerns. I hope this is resolved quickly, which is why I have added my voice to this group of people taken advantage of. I hope "One Web Direct Bill" or whatever is going on understands that this is not just one person trying to get out of charges for viewing porn when all of us are saying the same things. I encourage anyone who has similar experiences to post up and help us get through this.
