On September 3, I bid on and won a Fossil wallet and checkbook cover from Ann Schremp on eBay. The items were advertised as "a wonderful AUTHENTIC FOSSIL WALLET & SEPARATE CHECK BOOK HOLDER. These are used piece but show no leather wear just some color change from normal wear."
The items arrived in terrible condition. The outside of the checkbook holder has numerous ink marks and the inside has several white marks in it. The wallet has both white and black marks (felt pen?) on the inside and a dark stain the size of a dime on the outside. I've thrown wallets that look better than this in the garbage. Seller refuses to refund money, even though this is a clear case of fraudulant representation.
To make matters worse, eBay refuses to do anything about it and wants me to pay $20.00 to have a mediator try to resolve this with the seller!!
