Symantec (aka Norton) denies that Norton Internet Security Professional can be installed on 2 computers as is stated in their License Agreement

According to the Symantec's License Agreement, printed in the User's Guide for NORTON INTERNET SECURITY 2004 PROFESSIONAL, a consumer "may use one copy of the Software on each of two (2) sigle computers." Because I intended to load the softweare onto my desktop and my laptop, I specifically purchased the Professional version because of this feature (the standard version is licensed for installation on only 1 computer).

I had some questions about the procedure for activation on the second computer. Their on-line customer service rep, "Deepak M." insists that... Each copy of Norton is licensed for use on one computer only. If you wish to install it on more than one system, you must either purchase an additional copy or completely remove it from the first computer before installing it on the second.

When I called his attention to the clear statement to the contrary in the License Agreement, Deepak M. Responded that There might have been a error in documentation of the licensing for Norton Internet Security! Symantec is refusing to honor the terms of its own License Agreement and is refusing to make any sort of adjustment because I purchased the software more than 60 days ago.
