I bought a lap top hp zt1155 and the salesman told me about the extended warranty covered. He told me it covered everything even the little cd rom drive release. Because it looked like it would easyly fall off. Well it fell off and my drive dose not work and my laptop when into a safe mode.
When i took it to circut city they told me to call the 800 number and talk to the insurance company that covered the extended warranty, when i told them that the cd rom release was broke, they said they dont cover it. But please! Please define what
complet coverage means?
I thought compleat coverage ment even the cdrom drive relase is part of the "complet" in the coverage. They told me because it was a plastic part and it was on the outside of the case, this dose not fall under the catagory of normal wear and tear.
If i wanted to up grade my cd rom / dvd combo i guess i couldnt because it involved me touching the release and it would fall of and it wouldnt be covered. So why did have to have this coverage.
Well i'm not the type that lets thing go this easly. I invested over $2,500.00 in one store visit when i bought a digital camara also. S when then breaks i'm screwd also... Not! Im going to take legal action now.
