Alan Birk is truly a piece of work. He has no idea how to handle employees. He has recently fired, suspended and made most of his employees miserable.
Alan enjoys taunting his employees with screaming, name calling, even foul language in the past. The Executives including Troy Ireland, Eleni Ireland, Jarrod Hunt, and most importantly, the HR Director, Tom Dieringer, seem to turn a blind eye. They could give a crap.
When first starting this company you are told there is an open door policy which is total B.S. Unless you are in the "boys" club or perhaps sleeping with one of the owners. They have a strange way of doing business, and if you do not have ESP, you are screwed. They LOVE to "write people up" for silly things, again, unless you are in the above clubs.
I would suggest to NEVER work for this company. The compensation plan is useless, the management has their heads up their butts, and the work environment makes you feel like you need to look over your shoulder at all times.
It is really too bad. TextLinkBrokers has the right idea, and MOST of the time are trying to stay as "White Hat" as possible, but they need to take a serious look at their Sales Director, their HR Director, and the acceptance of the failures of their management team as whole. There are many good people at TextLinkBrokers.com that have so much potential. So sad...
