Serif marketed their x4 web builder software with HTML prominately featured as part of their package. What they NEVER mention is that it is totally incompatible with HTML!
I tried for months to use the software and got nowhere. Their tech support eventually told me
that x4 was not usable with HTML and tried to upgrade me to x5 (which was supposedly HTML friendly) for another $50.00.
Serif tech support continued to "help" me with several suggestions as to what I was doing "wrong".
After several more emails, I asked for a refund; I was told it was too late, I had the product for more than 30 days, so I was out of luck.
Another of their techs later confided that x5 was not usable with HTML either.
They did mention that, in the future, they would not market the HTML aspect so much!
I avoid the Serif brand now like The Plague.
