I recently started my own business, and needed a logo to build a CI. My funds were limited so i tried the cheap route. I googled cheap logo design, and found a site offering design for merely $25. I immedeiately placed an order and made payment of mentioned funds. Immediately i received a mail confirming payment and stating my first concepts woul be delivered to me within 24 hours (as stated on the site).
I waited 2 days before making an enquiry about the concepts, to which i received a mail stating that one of their team members had fallen ill. This i can understand, people get sick and fall behind especially on an impossible deadline. I waited a further 4 days before having to enquire about my logo again. This time their systems had crashed and they lost some important mail.
How this could influence work already in progress only my "friend" at the twentyfivedollardesign company knows. They assured me i would have the concepts within 24 hours or a refund. 2 Days later i mailed them again requesting a refund, to which i received no replies. Since then all mail has dissapeared without any trace of acknoledgement. Please do not make the same mistake.
