I am with CenturyLink in Tazewell, TN. I purchase 10 Mb. After obtaining the web connected the very first thing I did so was examine at speedtest.net. I had been navigating around. 5 Mb. I called tech-support plus they had me perform a velocity check at speedtest. Centurylink.net, which confirmed 8.7 Mb. The technology explained which means I'm receiving what I purchase. Lol. Speakeasy exhibits. 6 Mb.netflix wont flow HD, online gambling is just a laugh. Facebook requires a very long time to barrier. However the technicians claim the reason being speedtest.net and speakeasy.net have high-traffic. I stated "which means youare showing me that speedtest. Centurylink.net is okay however the remaining web is damaged?" Fundamentally they decided the signs suggested an issue between their machines and also the remaining internet, but explained there is nothing they might do. Our parents home in another area of the same town has 3Mb and usually assessments 3Mb on every speedtest site. Is it only me or does this appear to be an issue using the Central-Office helping my handle? Clearly the point is okay or I'dnot get full-speed on Millennium Link machines. This must be fixed ASAP. I actually donot understand what else to complete. The man who stated I had been receiving what I had been spending money on was Tier - 2 tech-support, and he was talking to an engineer about the issue. Exactly what a rip off...
