CPU Parts International
Aieon - Redwood Tech Consulting Ripoff, Deceptive Business Practices, No merchandise shipped, violate federal credit statutes

I truly wish I had found this site before I foolishly made my order with CPU Parts International. I should also have checked the Better Business Bureau website and would have seen that they have an "unsatisfactory" rating due to numerous unresolved complaints. The old adage is so true here... If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't. Sure, the prices are remarkable... That's because they just don't deliver what they're advertising. Here's my story:

I ordered a Shuttle mini pc and keyboard/mouse combo from CPU Parts on June 25th for $474.00. The purchase was charged to my credit card right away. I would agree with most people when they say that the website looks good, somewhat professional - but the fact that they don't even provide a customer service phone number should have been an indication of what kind of Company they would be to deal with.

The computer was supposed to be shipped on July 15th (which is right around the time I found this site) When it wasn't shipped, I sent an e-mail (July 16th) and was told that "they were behind schedule" and that the PC would be shipped out "early to mid next week" (July 19 - 23).

Well here it is July 23rd, with no response or PC, and the bogus "Stage 6 Processing" e-mail sent to me a second time this week. On July 21st, some fictitious figure named Kelvin Chambers sent out a ridiculous e-mail saying that they just discovered customer e-mails were being "erratically deleted" in the last month and that they're working to resolve this problem in the next 48 hours. Can you believe that? It's almost laughable. But, that's CPU Parts International. When the heat gets turned up, they come up with the silliest of excuses (such as this one).

If a so-called Computer Company can't safeguard customer information or e-mails, then how can they be trusted to built a quality, reliable PC and ship it as advertised and promised? Well, quite frankly in my experience, they just can't.

I intend to pursue my loss to the fullest extent and you should too. This is just unacceptable. For starters, I have made a complaint with the Arkansas Attorney General's Office, a claim with my credit card company, a Better Business Bureau complaint and of course this report. I'll update as it goes. There was a similar post where the person was quite happy after having finally received their merchandise from CPU. Truth be told, I've been so soured by this situation and have wasted so much time and effort trying to resolve it, I refuse to do business with a Company such as CPU Parts International. It's far past the point. I will funnel my hard earned money to another company (like MWAVE (multiwave) - CLT Computers) that truly cares about it's customers.
