I bought one laptop from Sony about 1 year ago and was babied, taken such good care of it looked like it was bought yesterday! Well after the year warranty was up it was like it was almost time because stuff started going terribly wrong with the laptop, not on the inside but in the outside! There is two hindges located directly under the lcd screen that holds that lcd to the computer itself, I shut the screen one day and the hindge snaped open and a big metal piece is forcing its way outside, I was cleaning the key wiping them off with a towel and the T and the Y key popped up and broke, all that is holding them on is a small 0.15 inch piece of plastic, so easily snapped its not even funny, Ive tried to pop it back in place even though it is broke and still does not work, I was also cleaning off the speaker guard and went over a spot where the speaker is and the speaker guard snapped also, on the screen there are little places at the very bottom that is starting it discolor and make weird small shapes. The cd drive will not open anymore unless you press the button and then hold the laptop sideways so it can slide open... I could list other many small things but it would just be a waste of time... Sony Laptops Are Junk! (Sony Vaio PCG-NV170) Youd Think Paying $2000.00 for a laptop it would be a good one...!
