Music Downloading at a costly price

I signed up for a trial membership at emusic.com under the premiss that I would be charged $11.99 a month, if I liked their service and stayed a member. After trying to download music to my computer and their software not working, I cancelled my trial membership as they allowed and aided me with. The following day I saw I had been charged $11.99 for my 30 minutes of membership. I called the phone number associated with the charge on my bank statement and said I wanted a refund, that I had cancelled my membership and in my cancelation email they sent to me, it said I would not be charged, yet, I was. At this time customer service told me that my service agreement, that I agreeed to, allowed them to charge me $11.99.

I explained I never saw this clause anywhere and I was directed to a 10 page agreement on their website that reads like french. I stated I wanted a refund still because the product was faulty and they offered me customer service techs instead - which I did not want, now that I had fully read their terms of use and seen that they have another 10 ways to rip you off written in there (well more like hidden in there). I explained I did not want to do business with their company any longer and they said ok, no refund. Do not do business with emusic.com and do not fall for their claims of trial membership with cancellation at anytime - they will charge you no matter what and do not care if you are unhappy. This is me is fraud and bad business.
