I had signed up for 35 free downloads trial via www.emusic.com/machspeed. However I was required to enter the credit card info to verify and to pay for future membership. After signing up I noticed they did not carry the songs I needed so I canceled the subscription within 3 minutes via the online webform without any download. When I checked my credit card statement online there was a charge of $19.99. I called the number on credit card statement; I had three options 1-To cancel service by Web, 2- Cancel by US Mail and 3- Cancel by phone. I selected #3 and voice message told me to go to Website and cancel the service there!!! I emailed the customer service and the rep. Told me that my subscription has been canceled but they cannot refund for prior membership?
I have explained them in subsequent emails That it was a trial offer that I signed up for and they were not supposed to charge me for it. But they refuse to correct the billing error.
