Ask for a refund on the palace hosting was having to many problems with it and he shut down for six month. Here is some of email that was sent back and forth between him and my wife (Hi Lynn, I am sorry I have to close palace/manor hosting, but all the hacking
attempts are just too much for me to handle alone.
Since I am a one man operation and at this point I had
to get a day job to help pay for the business, I had to just make a decision to stop palace hosting because it is the source of all the hacking attempts that make the server reboot 2 times a day.
When the server reboots the palaces get dorked due to the poor way that palace is programmed (not once did any of the 5 manors broke when the server rebooted)
So that leaves me with you the only person who actually paid in full (a ton of people owe like 6 months or more) but hey I have to cut my losses.
I am sorry for all the problems you have had since coming back. The old servers we had were rebooted like every 5 months so no problems but this one the palaces are on cant handle the attacks (which is why I am only
closing for about 6 months... Just long enough to buy a brand new dell server and program the control panel for it) Then and only then will I start again.
I will send you a check for the amount you sent in Wed or Thurs. Depending on my work hours.
I will put the old ldh and the new ldh backups on your website so you can download it via a webpage instead of messing with ftp.
I know it stinks and I don't blame you for being pissed, I would be too, but things are just screwed with somebody trying to run me out of the palace business (I will continue the webhosting part at LogicX, so we not
closed 100% just the palace/manor part).
FYI I know who is doing it, I have kept logs, and have turned them over to the FBI and will give them a copy of the hard drive too so they can shaft the bastards. I wish I could tell you so you don't go to host your
palace with them, but I can't say until it goes to court.
I tried to contact you via instant messenger several times before I put the notice up on the website, but you were not online (probably because I am working graveyards and only online for a few minutes at a time)
