Here is how I got scammed by Dave Turner:
Last year I found www.homebasedbusiness123.com (One of his scam websites) via an online job directory, he was offering serive to set up websites for you to make money for a whole year, guarantee income per month, and if you cannot make your investment back, he will return your full investment. And because the investment that he required to buy the service was not a small amount, a totally $995 for one website!
So I did a lot researchs on it, also his website listed on BetterBusinessBureau, with no bad reputations, I wrote him with some questions, he pretended to be extremely nice and kind, cos' I didn't have that much money at that time, he promised to let me pay half of $995 first, I was really appreciate, and paid him $495 by paypal on Monday 09 June, 2 days later, he wrote to me and said he got special offer, if I could pay the rest now, he would give me another website for free, well, I must say that it was a good reason to get your customer' money quickly!
So I borrowed $500 from my boyfriend since I didn't have any. And paid him via paypal again on Thursday, 12 June. About one month (the date he promised that my website will be finished) I wrote to him, but got NO reply until 15, July, he said he just got back from vacation. Anyway, I trusted him and gave him more time to finish my websites. But I got nothing from him even if he kept saying 'give me one more week' 'your page will be finished in next week'.
I was really pissed off, writing him again and again to urge him to finish my websites. And you guys guess what? After a long time, he finally 'handed' my website (only 1, you know, I should get 2) and asked me for my feedback, and this website was www.google-adwords-help.com (another scam website of him) And funny! He even going to sell 'my' website now! As he said he was going to sell his website, and will give all his customers full refunds, I asked him for the refunds, and even called him on the phone, but nobody answered the phonecall, and I trusted him and waiting for the 'news' about when homebasedbusiness123.com to be sold, so far his website still there, with 'Sorry... This Domain Is In The Process Of Being Sold!' Trying to fool all his customers and maybe those people who read about his bad reputations?
Till now, its already been more than 1 year (June 9 - July 7) I got no websites, no refunds, NOTHING! Even the website he 'built' for me, he takes it to sell to make his own money now!
So far, I know there are over 30 victims of DAVE TURNER's business scams. And please listen to me, Stay far away from Dave Turner, another biggest scam artist!
