My Dad asked me to order a CD from Netzero for him, since he doesn't have internet access yet. I ordered it online with his name as the "ship to" person and me as the "Bill to" on my credit card. I submitted the order, it came back refused, not approved, no confirmation #, no ref. #. I clicked to edit info. And filled in my info. For both shipping & billing. I received an approval with a confirmation # and ref. #.
The next day I see two charges for $9.95 each on my credit card activity. I called the 800-665-9995 that was advertised as "Operators available 24 hours." There are no operators, only voice recordings. I called 800-333-3633, which is the number that was connected with the charges on my credit card. I did get a human who was polite and said I need to call customer service & billing to get my $ refunded. That # is 866-841-1442, only you can't get past the first recording asking for the phone # associated with your account. I don't have an account & never, ever will.
I repeated the steps and asked the only human to please connect me directly. I did end up in their billing department. I was told that they can apply the doulble billing to my account. I don't have an account. They said they do not have the ability to refund $. I asked to speak to a supervisor. This was the rudest person you could have hoped for. I was told that I ordered 2 CD's and basically to live with it! He could not give me an additional confirmation # or ref. # for the supposed 2nd CD.
These people are crooks, thieves, robbers and morally unacceptable. Warning!!! Do not do business with them.
