After looking for a web site host I elected to go with iPage.com. After going thru all the preliminaries I was finally allowed to begin using thier web building tools. Here is where the trouble started. I was not able to get any of thier page building tools to work. I called tech. Support and they told me my version of IE was not yet compatible and to use another web building site they had listed in thier menu. I did this and had the same problem. I called back reported the problem and told them to just cancel my acct.
They apologized and said my acct would be cancelled. One and a half months later I get a charge on my credit card for $45. I immediatley disputed this charge and informed my credit card co. Not to pay this as I wanted iPage to call me directly. The charge was refunded back and I am anxiously awaiting a call.
I'm fortunate to at least have caught this scam in time or I'm sure I never would be able to get a refund. These people will lie to you and think nothing of it.
