This company will gladly take your hard earned dollars, but they simply refuse to work with you. I am writing this review to make sure other small business owners don't get jerked around like I did.
First, my experience went relatively well. For what I was paying, I was pretty satisfied with my service.
Then, I decided to close my business in order to concentrate more of my time to college.
I went through the necessary email channels to close my website. For some reason, I had to submit all kinds of codes and stuff to get this done. To my knowledge, I closed everything and that was that... Or so I thought.
6 months later I got a call from a RiaEnjolie sales rep, saying that they could not charge my account because my bank account was closed down. Turned out, that RiaEnjolie never actually closed down my website! They had been charging me for 6 months of service, that I wasn't even using.
So I called them back. I was IRATE, but I kept my cool and politely asked them to finally close my account and refund my money. They said they would call me back. I said ok.
A week later, I called them back. "What's going on with that refund?" I asked. They said they were working on it and was wondering if I still had those initial account closing emails from 6 MONTHS AGO! Really?! Why would I keep an email for that long if they would have closed it down in the first place like they said they did? I told them I didn't have the emails. They said they would call me back in 3 days. I said ok.
2 weeks later, I call them back. "Hey! What is up with my refund!?" They said that my case was "in review" and they will get back to me tomorrow with the amount of my refund. I said ok.
1 week later, I called them back. "If I don't get a my refund check within one week, you'll be hearing from my attorney." They said they would call me back in an hour. I said ok.
3 days later I call them back, "That was one hell of a long hour!" I said. They said, "we apologize" and that they will "get back to me tomorrow because they 'don't do refunds in the last week of the month'". I said ok.
I called them for the last time and said, "Enough, where's your manager?"
I They said in their Indian accent (I don't really believe they are from "New Jersey"), "We'll get our manager." I said ok.
30 minutes later on hold, a man came on the phone. He told me that he would not refund me the 6 months because I did not have those emails saying that I had actually closed my account with them. He'd give back $60. I asked him why they couldn't have just told me that ONE MONTH AGO!? He couldn't answer and acted like I was the one who had done something wrong. I said ok.
I am writing this email because I was jerked around and screwed out of my money and time, because they did not simply want to do their jobs. They could have just gotten back to me, they could have just told me the amount and given it to me straight, but they didn't. I was strung along for the better part of a month and a half.
I am now over $150 in the whole because their incompetence and inability to admit their mistakes.
I am writing this review to warn other good people and business owners to avoid RiaEnjolie at all costs, and use a business that employs home-grown Americans. These people will gladly take your money, but they will not deliver, and they will most certainly not refund your money. They are professional scam artists. Stay away. Please, stay away.
