On this date we moved our phone service from a single person account to a family plan. My account was closed and my phone moved to my daughter account. My account was closed. The account had a credit balance of $139.20. I asked to have the credit balance transferred to the new account. They refused. Said they must hold the money for 40-60 days to review the account to see if I own them the money. They already know I don't own them anything. I called customer service and they filled out a form and said they'd call me back in 48 hours. No call back. Two weeks later I recalled. Said they call me back - no call back. On 2/13 I called again - asked for a supervison. Today they called me back and again said I'd have to wait 40-60 days for them to review my account.in the mean time I have to pay the new account bill of $140.00. All I wanted was to move the credit balance to the new account or have them refund me the money so I could use it to pay the new bill. But nope, they are keeping my money. The credit balance is the result of an overpayment.
