MI-Connection
Never provided service paid fo

This message is for anyone having thoughts of starting service with MI-Connection out of Mooresville NC. DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE! I had service with them from October to October and from day one we had major issues. We never received proper equipment to receive the bandwidth that we paid for. The customer service is very bad and they do not care if you have your issues are corrected. Most of the areas where they offer service are set up as a monopoly where you can only get cable service through MI Connection. Im sure this is their business model because they would have no clients if their service was not forced on the customer. This is the case in Cornelius, NC where I am located. I am not big on satellite TV, but this is your best option if MI-Connection services your area. Throughout the three year term that I was with MI-Connection, I had contact with all of their top people. During my time with MI-Connection I was promised at all levels of management that my issues with not receiving proper equipment would be corrected. I was told by Mark Georgevich (Chief Engineer) in late 2009 that I really needed to have fiber wiring run to the building for me to get the service I was paying for. Mark told me that cable was being used at the time and it could not supply all of the bandwidth that I was paying for monthly. I took this concern to Vicki Casey (Customer Service Manager), as well as Allan Hall (Supervisor).in all conversations that I had with Mark, Vicki, and Allan I was told that they were sorry for the lack of service and that they were working on the situation. A year and a half went by and I was still having the same service issues as I had from day one of my relationship with MI-Connection. The decision to install fiber would have been that of Allan Hall. I found out in September almost two years after service began, that Allan had decided he would not install the fiber wiring. His decision was based on the expense needed to run fiber. I had spent over $54,000 for inadequate service with MI-Connection by the time this decision was made. I had lost over $50,000 in business due to the inadequate service that I received with MI Connection. I moved my service away from MI-Connection in October. I communicated my intent to move service to a new carrier with Vicki Casey (Customer Service Manager) and she said I would have to pay $4,000 to get out of my contract. After moving service I was sent an invoice of over $25,000 for cancelation of service with MI-Connection. I am presently seeking legal advice as to how to proceed with this issue against MI-Connection. Do not let this happen to you. If youre living in or looking to live in an area that is serviced by MI-Connection, look at all your options so that you will not have to work with them. I personally would not live in an area if MI-Connection was my only choice for service.
