I also signed up for a free gift card by joining Netflix back in January. My current account status is "approved" but I can't seem to get a "confirmation email" so I can go to the next stall phase of completing a "Fulfillment Certificate" and mailing it in. I think they add too many steps in their process in the hopes that people will either forget about the offer or give up. Several times I have clicked on the "approved" link but never get the confirmation email I need to get my gift card. I even tried sending separate emails to customer service but get no replies.
The Better Business Bureau of Silicon Valley has had 194 complaints filed on this company. This morning I called the number I found on the BBB website for Y.F. Direct (866) 383-3733 and left a message. They are now going under the name of NetBlue. I also sent an email to Netflix letting them know what was going on and asking for their help. The next step I'll be taking is to file a complaint with the BBB if I don't hear anything back from NetBlue or Y.F. Direct or whatever they're calling themselves these days.
