We were happy in Smithville with PVCO.net. We got 5mb down and 1.5 up for several months until they were purchased by Skybeam. Now I am lucky to get a web page to load every 15minutes. There technical support tells you to unplug your POE device for 20 minutes to "reset your bandwidth requirements" which is such hog wash and it doesn't work. I have tried to contact the company for 3 days and have been on hold for 45 minutes at times and still no person but they always have recordings about outages and degradation of service. I honestly believe dial up is faster than their broadband. I wait. I understand a class action suit is in the works and I am certain researching my participation in that.

... Ok I finally got through to tech support and when they could not correct the issue I asked to cancel service and that has to be done through Retention. So I have been waiting an additional 20 minutes of my life. I cannot possibly imagine what someone in their Retention department goes through in a day. Also, beware. They will try to pick up your network equipment even if you paid for it! They put the burden of proof on you to deliver receipts for radios or they will bill you. Don't they get these records in the business sale?
