Awful Service—NEVER AGAIN

I bought a AT&T DSL device from my local AT&T retail store. A week later, I get a call from AT&T saying that they were sorry someone could not come out for another week. Two weeks without service its unacceptable. Then when the internet service went out after a winter storm, the customer service agents and technology assistants had no answers of how to fix it. ALSO, the most horrible part about the service: I don't have an AT&T phone account and they use your phone number as the acct #. So everytime I called in, it took very long for them to look me up. I couldn't sign up for an online acct. I called a customer service agent to set up automatic payments—DIDNT GO THRU. I used the automatic service to set up automatic payments—DIDNT GO THRU. My service ended up getting cut off with a fee to reactivate. They don't compensate for ANYTHING. Then when I disconnected the service this past June, they sent me nice cards saying, "we see that you've disconnected your service with us". Yet, I was still getting charged for 2 months after. This is the craziest, most incompetent service I have ever done business with, and I will be sticking to my trustworthy SPRINT wireless for any internet services, even if the price is higher, because it's totally worth it.
