I purchased SpeedyPC software 12/1 and when I got the invoice online I found I was charged for Privacy Congtrol software also. I called the activation number and told the lady I spoke with that I did not order the Privacy sofrware but she didn't offer to cancel that part of the invoice. As I proceeded with the activation process the lady attempted repeatedly to get me to sign up for a technical support service that would cost over $300 per year.
I told her several times I did not need that, we are a State agency and have a whole technical support division. I also asked her several times to just cancel the purchase or connect me with someone who could cancel ther purchase but she kept talking over me and refused to do so. I have attempted to call the company but no one answers and I am left on hold for long times.
