I did NOT confirm my purchase on ZBiddy.com. The site asks you to create an account and put in your credit card information. This is presumably so that your account information will be available as soon as you start bidding. I put in my information, but when I saw that the site was about to charge me $99, I immediately clicked on the "X" at the top of the web page, and never confirmed the purchase. I just closed the webpage, but the company charged me anyway. There is no mention of the $99 fee until AFTER you put in your account info. Then, there is no "Submit" or "Confirm" button, so once I saw that there would be a $99 charge. I immediately "X"'d off the site, but since my card info was already in, they charged me anyway. This is absolute fraud! I immediately called the customer service number, but never received anyone on the line due to "high call volume."
I have called my bank to dispute this fraudulent charge. I also reported ZBiddy to the Better Business Bureau. This is a reprehensible business practice. Companies should earn their customers in a fair and honest manner; not with deceitful practices.
ZBiddy will be REFUNDING my $99!!! I work too hard for my money to have a company try to fraudulently take it from me.
