I have been with Fios for past two years. I was on a one year contract with the 2nd year being month to month that I'm able to cxl at anytime. I found a new subscriber offer for the same service I am getting now at the same price (valid for two years). I thought, "excellent! I will stay with Fios (even tho overall service has been adequate at best)" for the same price and lock it in for two years.
To my surprise, because I'm not a "new" customer, I am not eligible and in fact have to pay $30 more per month. As I am allowed to cxl at anytime, I thought surely they would allow me to sign up for the package...
Silly me... They not only wouldn't allow me to sign up for that price, insisted that I would need to cxl my service for at least 30 days. Then I could come back in under the lower price offer. Seriously? WHat absolutel imbeciles!
So now I am a happy comcast customer.internet is actually much more reliable and TV service is identicial. Oh... And Comcast matched the Verizon offer that they wouldn't give me! Lol!
