I've had some extensive experience with Cakemail and wouldn't recommend them to anyone! There are regular outages on their service and for users in Asia/Pacific area, the nightly backup routines cause regular timeouts. I experienced about 50% of the page loads would timeout during business hours. After countless emails to Kevin Huxham and their support I got in touch with their CEO Francois Lane who seemed unwilling an uninterested in helping. His response was basically "too bad, that's nothing we can do anything about in the short term".
They basically they sold me a service then took my money and ripped me off and to top it off were very arrogant for no apparent reason". Not a good way to run a business!
