This is report is for informational purposes and to keep the public aware of policies and design features of the service contracts provided by Spectorsoft.
It should be known that you can not simply add and remove workstations from the application as you might expect. You must have a service contract in order to get a new serial number which is specifically tied to the number of client licenses.
If you have 100 workstations and 100 licenses you can not delete one workstation then add another. You must call in to tech support and get a new serial number for those 100 workstations.
This feature was specifically designed in to the application so that you must call in to get support.in order to get support you must have a service contract. While this feature is completely legal it is not explained at the time of purchase.
If you do not have the service contract the only option is to wipe the previous installation and reinstall the application.
