Late September I bought the Jim Rosen Classified Systems for $39.95, soon after I was contacted by a Rep. With Web Ad Systems. I did not contact this company, they contacted me! And on my cell phone. I dont remember ever giving my cell phone number to Jim Rosen Classifieds and I did not consent to giving my phone number out to be soliticed by other business. The rep from Web Ad Systems (Melissa) gave me the sales pitch. It sounded good but I was reluctant. This was on a Thursday.
On Friday she contacted me again. She said she could HOLD the serviced for me until monday with my credit card number. She told me the system would cost $9,000. There would be NO CHARGE to my credit card. On monday I spoke with her again. She called me. I told her I did not need the services at this time. That I was not interested and it wasnt going to work right now. She said no problem, good luck and nice talking with you.
A week later a charge for $9500 shows up on my credit card from W. Craig and Company. I though my credit card had been stolen. I called to have my card cancelled. Upon further research, this charge was put back on my card and I have to go through conflict resolution with my card company to get this matter resolved because even though I did not consent to the services I gave them my number.
This is absurd! This past Friday, I spoke with Jason in Customer Service at W. Craig and Company. He said this was a matter that Quality Management would have to handle for me. Help! Isnt customer service of any reputable company supposed to take care of this. I am so scared and alarmed. I never authorized use of my credit card for this service. Jason said I had a website up and running, with 3,000 visitors already. I am to afraid to go online and check. I never wanted this. Can anyone help me get my money back???
