I would suggest that a great deal of consideration be taken when odering from Seedlings.com.in addition, I caution everyone to actually be prepared for receiving an incomplete order.
During the month of February, I purchased tropical plant seeds (Mexican Breadfruit and Bird-of-Paradise) from them. My decision was based on an offer of a free packet of seeds per purchase, the very reasonable prices, and equally, very low shipping fees. When the package arrived, it included only one packet of seeds.
The latter of my order had not been sent, nor had an explanation been offered. Upon my initial purchase, a confirmation had been emailed which included a link to my account at their site. Using the link, I looked at the account which remained exactly as it had been when I initially placed the order.
At this point, I was not sure if the other seeds were
unavailable (as I was now aware from my bank statement that I had only been charged for the first item), or if there had been a problem with the transmission or just human error. I emailed the manager, Natalia Zbrodova. I received no response.
I emailed Miles Ranger, with no response. Then I emailed the manager again. Finally, I had to place a long-distance call to Maine. Deeply agitated and disappointed, I spoke with Miles, who told me of the woes they had experienced via a computer virus and ignored all emails as a result.
He could not (to my satisfaction) explain why the website was still offering the Bird-of-Paradise rather than indicating that it was out of stock. Secondly, he promised that I would receive free seeds - all the while apologizing profusely. He also asked for my number and indicated that I would be receiving a return telephone call. To date, there has been no return call and as you may have guessed - no free packet of seeds.
I was so very happy with the prospect of getting the seeds at such a reasonable price that my every intention was to enjoy a long and enduring relationship as a loyal and dedicated customer. Now, due to the lack of professionalism on their part, I will pay more for seeds in order to be satisfied than falsely appeased. It is apparent that their business is so well established that the loss of profit from one customer is something that does not cause the slightest distraction.
