I purchased net detective and, like many people I have read here, I knew instantly that it was not what had been advertised. I was searching for divorce decrees and marriage record (which are public record). Employees responding to complaints in this forum have implied that if you are unhappy with the services, you must be trying to do something illegal, and I really resented that!
I immediatly tried to get a refund and could not figure out how. Luckily I came across this web site and read the postings and many rebuttals, and found how to get my refund. I ordered the product on March 5 and had my refund by march 10!

There is a form you have to print up, fill out, and either mail or fax to them. I suggest mentioning that you plan to dispute the charge if it was by credit card. I did, and my refund was processed immediately.
I can't attest to bank transfers, as I have no experience with them, but once I attained the information on how to get a refund thanks to your other posts, I had no difficulty in obtaining my refund! I also contacted customer support via the form for technical questions, and received a response.
