Shannon Durham Grizzly Guitars and Entertainment is a Fraud Business: Do Not Buy From These Scam Artists Internet

I purchased a musical instrument listed on Grizzly Guitar and Entertainment's website using PayPal. The PayPal receipt listed Shannon Durham as the payee, not "Grizzly Guitars and Entertainment". One week after payment, I received a notification from GG&E that the item had shipped via UPS. (First hint of trouble: No UPS tracking info was provided). After 3 e-mails to GG&E about this were ignored, I finally heard back from Darren Macias (the GG&E "General Manager"). Macias told me the very lame story that "UPS had lost the original shipment"... But, wait for it: GG&E would order a replacement from their supplier in Tennessee and the supplier would ship it direct to me. Macias promised tracking information "asap". Of course, the goods did not arrive by the time Macias had told me they would arrive, so I called him (his official company phone is a cheap home-answering machine in a residential neighborhood at 7535 Chipmunk Way, Citrus Heights, CA): Macias then lied to me that the item had "arrived to GG&E in their stock order and "we'll send it out to you in our next UPS shipment". This time, GG&E created a UPS shipping label and a tracking number for the item and even sent a notice via PayPal: "Your order is on its way!"—big problem though, UPS records clearly show no package was ever picked up or shipped from GG&E. Even after I filed a claim against them via PayPal (4 weeks after purchase date) it required an additional 10 days for PayPal to verify that the UPS "shipment" was a phony. EE&G's scam is: If you're a PayPal customer and they can string you along for enough time (45 days from date of purchase) then you lose your rights to reclaim your money through PayPal. Then you're on your own and you probably have no hope of reclaiming your lost money. They are well aware that your legal costs will be much more costly than the price of any goods they ripped you off for. PayPal came through for me and I was notified today of my refund. Do not buy from these frauds.
