QuiBids is nothing like a real auction. It costs you 60 cents to make a bid and you can only raise the price by one cent with your bid. This means by the time something is going for $10 there has been a thousand bids made. A large HD TV going for $40 has had four thousand bids made. What are the chances the last of the 4000 bids will be your bid? You could always buy the item at a "Value Price" which is always much higher than the item could be bought elsewhere. Additionally, selection is limited to what is up for bids. If you like the thrill of playing a lottery, this site may be for you but, like a lottery, the chance of winning is very small. You would do much better by going to Amazon and getting exactly what you want at a lower price.
