After signing up for cleaning up a slow computer on 4/11 for 299.95 I learned from another company that my computer still contained all the usual spyware and items that slowed it down after this company supposedly corrected it on two occasions.
I tried cancelling my contract online in the latter part of April, but was told that I had to wait for customer services to call me by phone. I was finally called on May 3 and was tole that I would be charged $139.95 for services rendered even though I protested that they didn't clean up my computer to increase its' speed.
They finally agreed to credit my VISA account with $160.00 and that it would take 5-7 days. Today, 5/17, there's still no credit and when I complained online, I was given the refund department phone number, 888-220-4599. I was instructed to wait 2 hours for customer services to call me again.
As a side note; all the personnel are from India and I have much difficulty understanding the dialect as well as the broken English. I have to have statements repeated several times and have important data spelled out for me.
In terms of their own Cancellation and Termination policies online, I should not have had to pay more than one month's billing which would be $25.00.
I'm presently awaiting a call back again to try terminating this contract and receiving at least my $160.00 credit.
