I have been receiving internet sevice from netzero.com since December 12. When I signed up for the platinum plan I had the company have me automatically bill my credit card. Even though I payed $9.95 every month, I would get spontaneously logged off from the internet after a certain amount of time and without any notice.
After months of frustration, in September I called the netzero billing department to cancel my account with netzero (I should not have to PAY for an internet service that automatically cuts off the internet). The first time I spoke with a representative, she told me that I still must have the free internet program. I gave her all my new information and I never recieved the Platinum internet software in the mail as promised.
I called the billing department again in January explanig the same problem to another netzero representative. The second representative appologized for any inconveniences, credited my account for one month, and sent me the Platinum plan internet software.
I finally received the Platinum internet service software on January 6. Naively, I never realized untill recently, that I have been paying $9.95 for a free internet service for the past three years! This is illegal.
Lastly, I called the billing company, again, on January 12. I told them my plight and they did nothing but give me a call reference number and this email address.netZero has been over charging me for three years! I deserve a refund!
