I went to the store to buy my children snacks for school. The cashier told me that my debit card was declined for insuffienct funds. I knew I had money in my account. When, I checked my balance on my phone, it showed an electronic draft of $49.99 from Unlimited Local Savings and had signature on file. I call the 800 number from off the check and explained to them that I did not authorize anyone to debit my account for this amount.
The representative ask me did I apply for a pdl. I told her yes. This is a fradulant company that takes money without your autorization. I went to the refund website and signed for a refund, but I will have to wait 72 hours before I receive a response. Has anyone received a refund from this company and if so, what was the full process and how long does it takes? I am a single mom with four children, I can't afford to give away $49.99. Now this deduction has cause my account to have overdraft fees.
